Partay Time

We held our annual Halloween party this weekend. It was so much fun to see everyone all dressed up in their costumes! Maddie was dressed up as a giraffe, I was Superman, and Matt was a hunter. Thanks to everyone that came, we have the best friends! Although, we missed Hollie and Brit, who are far away from home. Happy Halloween to all!

fall colors

We went to look at the leaves up at Snowbasin last week. Even though we were about a week too late for the best colors, it was so nice to be outside. Fall is the best time of year (next to summer!)

Six Month Old Check-up

Maddie is now 21lbs. 12oz, and 29 in. long! Talk about a big girl! I'm loving her more, and more everyday. All the new things she does, just amazes me! She loves her Baby Einstein saucer, and so do I because it keeps her entertained for a long time. Also, she loves splashing in the tub (which is almost too small) with her rubby ducks. We love her so much!

kisses

I just love this picture! Maddie started this last week, where she will bite your chin, and just sit there. It's a good thing she doesn't have teeth yet! What a goofball!

Home Sweet Home

As most of you know, we have moved BACK into our house, which we just moved out of a month ago. Our lives has been so crazy this last little while, but I think we are finally settled. We just wanted to give a shout-out to everyone who helped us with the two moves: Eric (who helped both times, what a guy!), Trav (who found time between his flights), Roger (who gave up precious hours of boating), Chad (with his Bronco, which pulled the trailer, both times!) and of course the grandparents who helped out with Maddie. We love you all, and couldn't have done it without your help!

Attitude

I got this quote from a girl at work. I think it's very true, and makes you think:

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company ...a church ...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past ...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude ...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ...we are in charge of our attitudes.

chubby cheerleader

I love Maddie in this little ND cheerleading outfit. As you can see, the bottoms are a little snug, but I had to snap some pictures of her booty! We literally have to peel this outfit off of her when the game is over, but it's worth it! I believe she's the cutest cheerleader on the squad (and yes, I did make her bow).
